Regulatory updates
This is where legal changes that affect your company (a new royal decree, an amended regulation) are recorded and followed until they are resolved: you check whether it applies, decide what to do and keep evidence.
1. What is on the screen
At the top right, the «New» button. Below, three counters: «Overdue» (the compliance deadline has passed), «Open» (everything not completed or dismissed) and «Completed».
The «All», «New», «In Review», «Action required», «Completed» and «Not applicable» buttons filter the list by status. For a new company the list says «No regulatory updates».
2. Where updates come from
You can record them by hand with «New», and those published in the BOE come in automatically if regulatory ingestion is active in your installation, according to the categories you choose in Settings → “Regulatory subscriptions”.
Each row shows the title, the reference, the impact (“Low”, “Medium”, “High”, “Critical”), the status and the deadline; a red “Overdue” tag marks those past their deadline.
3. Record a legal change
1. Press «New».
2. Enter the “Title” (required), the “Reference” (for example, the BOE number) and paste the text into “Description / legal text”. “Suggest with Nora” reads that text, fills in the category and the impact, and replaces the description with a summary: check them.
3. Choose the “Category”, the “Impact” and the “Compliance deadline”.
4. Press “Save”: it is left in «New» status.
4. Resolve an update
Press the row to open the detail. There you record the “Acknowledge”, check the “Applicability” to your activity and build the “Action Plan” (or ask Nora to propose it with “Suggest plan with Nora”). Under “Linked items” you connect the update with the assessments, training or documents you change because of it.
Set the status to «Action required» while there is work pending, to «Completed» when it is done, or to «Not applicable» if it does not affect your company.
