Webhook page
A webhook's page gathers its state, its summary and the history of its deliveries, and lets you send a test, enable or disable it and delete it. It opens when you press the webhook's name in the Webhooks list.
1. What is on the screen
At the top, the link back to “Webhooks”, the webhook's name with its state (“With failed deliveries”, “Disabled” or “No incidents”), the “Send test” button and the “More” menu. Below, a summary with the URL, the number of events, the failures and the last successful delivery, and two tabs: “Summary” and “Deliveries”.
2. Check that the endpoint answers
Press “Send test”: goPrevina sends a test event to the webhook's URL and a notice gives the response code and whether it arrived. Use it after creating the webhook and after fixing your system. The test stays in the “Deliveries” tab.
3. Review the deliveries
The “Summary” tab shows the URL, the events it subscribes to, the accumulated failures, the last successful delivery and, if it failed, the last failure with its cause. The “Deliveries” tab lists each send with its date, event, status, attempts and response code. On a failed delivery, “Send again” sends it once your system works.
4. Enable, disable and delete
In “More”, “Disable” stops the deliveries without deleting anything and “Enable” resumes them; a webhook that was “auto-disabled” after 5 failures in a row is switched back on this way once your system answers again. “Delete” asks for confirmation and deletes the webhook with its delivery history; this cannot be undone.
