Reports panel

The “Reports panel” gathers in four tabs what the company needs to see how its prevention is going: the executive summary, the Safety Intelligence risk score, costs and return on investment.

1. The tabs

There are four tabs at the top: “Summary”, “Safety Intelligence”, “OHS costs” and “Return of prevention”. Only company administrators see the last one.

2. Summary

Under “Executive Dashboard” you choose the period: “Today”, “This Week”, “This Month”, “This Quarter”, “This Year” or “Custom”. The four cards count the risk assessments created in the period, the average risk level (from 1, trivial, to 5, critical), the high or critical risks, and the assessments waiting for approval or action; the percentage compares with the previous period.

Further down are “Trends”, “Distribution” and “Metrics” (incidents, open assessments, completed training and compliance rate: approved assessments over the total of the period). “Export to PDF” downloads the panel and “Refresh” recalculates it.

3. Safety Intelligence

“Overall risk score” is a number from 0 to 100: the higher, the more risk, with its band next to it. Below, each factor shows the points it adds and its weight: recent incidents, incident trend, open high risks, failed or overdue inspections, expired certificates and PPE, expired permits, outstanding training and PPE compliance. “What if…” calculates how much the score would drop if you closed high or critical risks, and “Risk by area” ranks the areas by accumulated risk.

“Factor weights” lets you change how much each factor counts (values are normalised to 100%) and press “Save” or “Reset”. At the end are “Incident trend (6 months)” and “Leading vs lagging indicators”: incidents, inspections done, inspection/incident ratio and overdue inspections.

4. OHS costs

This is the ledger of everything prevention costs, estimated against actual, by category, workplace and supplier. Filter with “From”, “To”, “Category”, “Estimated or actual”, “Workplace” and “Currency”; the totals are “Estimated”, “Actual” and “Actual with VAT”, and they never mix currencies.

“New expense” adds an entry by hand. Entries that come from another screen, such as a preventive measure with an estimated cost, carry “Open source record”. “Cost ledger” and “External contracts” switch between the entries and the external service contracts.

5. Return on prevention

Only administrators see this tab. It compares what prevention has cost and what it has returned with your company's previous year or period: choose “Period”, “Compare with” and the workplace. Figures marked as estimates (accident cost avoided, estimated savings, ROI, payback) come from the assumptions your company enters: goPrevina proposes none, and anything left empty is not calculated, which is why “—” appears.

Under “Assumptions” fill in at least “Annual OHS cost before goPrevina” and “Hourly cost of OHS staff” and press “Save assumptions”. “Export PDF” downloads the report.
