Notification history, templates and schedules
«Notification Delivery History» records every notification goPrevina has sent by email, WhatsApp, SMS, push or inside the app, and what happened to it. This guide also covers the other two automatic-notification screens: “Alert Templates” and “Alert Schedules”.
1. «Engagement analytics»
At the top, five figures: «Total» sends, «Delivery rate» (those that arrived), «Open rate» (those opened), «Click-through rate» and «Failure rate». Below, «By channel» and «By notification type» break those sends down; for a company that has just started they say «No data».
2. Find out whether a notification reached someone
1. Type their email in «Search by Email» and press «Search».
2. If you like, filter by «Status» («Pending», «Sent», «Delivered», «Failed», «Bounced», «Rejected») and by «Channel».
3. The table shows «Recipient», «Channel», «Subject», «Status» and the date under «Created». «Bounced» is usually a mistyped email address: correct it on the person's record.
If there are no results it says «No notification logs found».
3. Alert templates
In the menu, “Alert Templates” keeps your own texts for automatic notifications (expiring safety data sheets, low chemical stock, worker certifications, incidents, training, document review). “New template” asks for “Name”, “Type”, “Priority” and “Language”, the “Title Template” and the “Message Template” —with variables in braces, such as {variableName}—, the action button's link and text, and the “Channels”. Press “Create”.
4. Alert schedules
At /notifications/schedules, “Alert Schedules” lists notifications sent automatically at a frequency: “Once”, “Daily”, “Weekly”, “Monthly” or “Custom (Cron)”. Filter by “Frequency” and “Status” (active or inactive) and create one with “Add Schedule”.
