Safety data sheets

This screen gathers in one list every safety data sheet (SDS) of every chemical of the company, with its expiry state. Use it to see at a glance which sheets have to be requested again from the supplier.

1. What is on the screen

At the top are the expiry buttons: «All», «Expired», «Expires soon», «Valid» and «No expiry date», each with the number of sheets in that state.

Below them, the search box («Product, CAS or supplier»), the «All languages» filter and the «Include previous versions» checkbox.

The table shows «Product» (with its CAS number), «Version», «Revision», «Expiry», «Supplier» and «Language». When the sheet has a file, a button at the end of the row opens it.

2. See the sheets that expire

1. Press «Expires soon» to see only the sheets that expire in the next 60 days, or «Expired» for the ones already expired.

2. Ask the supplier for the new version of each one.

3. When you have it, upload it on the chemical: the new version becomes the current one and the previous one leaves the list, unless you tick «Include previous versions».

3. Open the chemical

Press a row to go to the chemical: it opens directly on its safety tab, where every version of the sheet is listed with the button to upload a new one.

The button at the end of the row opens the sheet's file without leaving the list.

4. Permissions

Every user of the company with access to the Chemical management module can read the list. Uploading or replacing a sheet is done from the chemical and needs write permission.
