Risk Management
This screen lists, one by one, the risks identified across all assessments, with their methodology, score, level and priority. Use it to find the most serious risks without opening each assessment.
1. The header figures
“Total Risks” counts every risk. “Critical Priority” and “High Priority” count those with that priority. “Intolerable Level” counts those with a critical level: the ones where work should not go on without an immediate measure.
2. The list of risks
Each row shows the “ID”, the “Title” (with the description below), the “Methodology” it was scored with (for example, 5x5 Matrix), the “Score”, the “Level” and the “Priority”. The list is sorted by score, highest first; click another header to change the order.
The search box finds a risk by its text. “Filters” narrows the list to one methodology, one priority, or active or inactive risks. “Export to Excel” downloads all the risks.
3. Reviewing a risk
1. Click the row. The risk's page opens with its description, level, priority, score, hazard source and affected persons.
2. In “Required PPE” tick the protective equipment the risk demands and click “Save”.
3. In “Related items” you see the assessment it belongs to and its preventive measures with their status; “Score history” records every change of score.
4. “Edit” changes the title, description, hazard source or affected persons; “Delete” removes it.
4. Adding a risk
“Add New Risk” opens “Create New Risk” with “Title”, “Description”, “Hazard Source” and “Affected Persons”; “Save Risk” creates it.
That form asks for no assessment and no score: the risk is left on its own, without a level. For a scored risk inside its assessment, add it from the assessment (the “Risk identification” step of the Risk Assessments wizard) or from a workplace analysis.
5. Permissions
Creating, editing or deleting a risk, or saving its required PPE, needs write permission. By default the prevention module is open to editors and administrators; a read-only user sees the notice “This module is switched off”.
