1. The list and the filters

Above the table are the search box and three filters: «All Categories» (machinery, vehicle, tool, electrical, lifting, pressure, safety equipment…), «All statuses» (Active, Out of service, Retired) and the «Maintenance due only» box.

The table has «Name», «Code», «Category», «Status» and «Next maintenance». If the next maintenance date has passed, the row turns red with Overdue; if it falls in the next 14 days, amber with Due soon. The demo has three active machines: the CZ-3 shear, the TIG-01 welding set and the PH-250 press.

2. Add equipment

Click «New Equipment». The “Name” and the “Code” are required, and the code cannot be repeated. You can also enter category, status, location, manufacturer, “Serial number”, the “Maintenance interval (days)” and the last and next maintenance dates, plus the “Technical sheet”: model, “CE marking”, energies, “ATEX zone”, whether it “Works outdoors” and any modifications made.

To add many at once, «Import» opens the equipment importer: download the template, fill it in and upload the CSV or Excel (up to 20 MB).

3. The record: maintenance, manual and LOTO

Click a piece of equipment to open its record. “Mark maintenance done” records that it was done today and, if the equipment has an interval, schedules the next one; without an interval it schedules nothing. “Lock out (LOTO)” opens an energy lockout for that equipment.

Under “Documents”, “Upload PDF” attaches the manufacturer's manual (PDF only, up to 50 MB). The application extracts its safety, residual risk, maintenance and cleaning chapters, which are what the workplace analysis reads; a scanned PDF with no text cannot be read. The status is changed with “Edit”.

4. Who sees what

«New Equipment», «Import», “Edit”, “Delete” and “Mark maintenance done” only appear to users with edit permission; everyone else can browse the list and the records. If your role does not have the Equipment module, you see “This module is switched off”.
