Worker certifications
«Worker certifications» keeps each worker's cards, licences and qualifications (Spanish Construction Professional Card, forklift, crane, scaffolding, first aid, Safe Pass or CSCS) with their expiry date, so you know who can do each job and what has to be renewed.
1. What is on the screen
At the top, «Import» and «New Certification». The figures are «Total Certifications», «Valid Certifications», «Expiring Soon» and «Expired Certifications».
Below, «All» or «Requiring renewal», and the filters by type, status, project, worker and jurisdiction. The table shows «Worker name», «Certification Number», «Type», «Project», «Expiry Date» (with the days left), «Status» and «Actions».
2. Recording a certification
Click «New Certification». The required fields are “Worker”, “Certificate Type”, “Certification Number”, “Jurisdiction”, “Issue Date” and “Expiry Date”. You can add the issuing authority, the training provider, the certificate file (PDF or image) and, under “Optional Information”, the project and the workplace. Click “Create”.
“Worker” is currently a numeric field that asks for the user's internal identifier, not a search by name.
3. Loading many at once
«Import» opens “Import worker certifications”: download the template with “Download template”, fill it in and upload it as CSV or Excel (.xlsx, up to 20 MB). Check the result before confirming.
4. Renewing on time
Click «Requiring renewal» to see only those expiring soon and those expired. When the new card arrives, open the certification with “Edit” and update the number and dates.
In companies in Ireland Safe Pass cards, and in the United Kingdom CSCS cards, also have “Check card”, which checks the card number.
5. Who can do it
Construction is a module that, by default, only administrators see; in “Company settings › Modules” it can be opened to more roles. Creating, importing, editing and deleting require edit permission.
