Environmental & ESG
This dashboard sums up the company's environmental management: emissions, energy, water, waste, sustainability goals and ESG reports. From it you enter each area; the same guide covers the metrics, compliance, emergencies and goals screens of the Environment menu.
1. Recommendations and figures
At the top, “Nora's Recommendations” points out what should be corrected, with the regulation that asks for it; in the demo, a high percentage of hazardous waste under Law 7/2022, with the “View waste management” and “Ask Nora” buttons.
“Detailed View” holds “Total Emissions” (tonnes of CO₂ equivalent), “Energy Consumption” (kWh), “Water Consumption” (m³) and the progress of the “Sustainability Goals”. Below, the breakdown: emissions by “Scope 1”, “Scope 2” and “Scope 3”, the percentage of “Renewable” energy, recycled water, goals by status (on track, at risk, delayed), the “ESG Reports” in draft or overdue, and “Waste Management” (tonnes, percentage recycled and percentage hazardous).
2. Recording environmental data
The cards at the end of the screen (“Emissions”, “Waste Management”, “Energy Consumption”, “Water Consumption”) open each area; they are also in the menu, under Metrics. Each one has a “List” tab and an “Analytics” tab.
For example, for waste: in Waste click “New Record”, fill in the “Generation Date”, the “Waste Type” (hazardous, non-hazardous, recyclable…), the “Waste code (LER/EWC)”, the quantity and its unit, the “Disposal Method”, the carrier and the transport document, and save. The figures on this dashboard are recalculated with each record.
3. Goals and ESG reports
“Sustainability Goals” (also in the menu, under Strategy) lists each goal with its category, progress, status and target date; in the demo, reducing electricity consumption by 15 % in three years. “New Goal” creates another.
“ESG Reports” generates and manages the sustainability reports; those in draft or past their date are counted on this dashboard.
4. Compliance and emergencies
In the Environment menu, Compliance groups the environmental “Permits” with their expiry, “Regulatory compliance” and “Materiality (CSRD)”; Management contains the environmental “Emergencies”. Each screen has its list and its button to add a record.
5. Who sees this module
Environment is open by default only to company administrators. An editor or a read-only user sees the notice “This module is switched off”, unless an administrator lowers the minimum role in “Company settings › Modules”.
